Dwarves are often skilled warriors with considerable stamina. Short and broad by build, their physical prowess should not be underestimated. Dwarves tend to be suspicious of strangers and particularly dislike orcs, giants and all goblinoids. Some dwarves live in their own communities whereas others dwell among the other races, particularly in larger cities.
Lore tells of the duergar, a subrace of dwarves who can be recognized by their grey skin.
